A fatal 3-vehicle crash closed a portion of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in Tampa late Monday.

According to Tampa police, the fatal crash involved two cars and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist died as a result of the crash, which happened on MLK near Albany Avenue just after 11 p.m.

The eastbound and westbound lanes of MLK were closed at Albany Ave. during an investigation. The street has since been reopened.

Authorities have not released any further information on the crash.
