  • Noelle has already performed at House of Blues Orlando and Bluebird Cafe in Nashville

Crystal River's Sophie Noelle has music in her blood. Day and night songs run through her head. Music is her life.

"I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't play music," she said. "I'd be lost."

The up-and-coming country singer/songwriter is only 16.

"Some people like sports," she said. "I can't play sports so I like music and I put everything I have in music."

Noelle is no stranger to the spotlight. She plays gigs all over town and even out of town at places like the House of Blues in Orlando and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

When she was 8, Noelle performed the national anthem before a Tampa Bay Lightning game. Since then, she has kicked off many pro sporting events here in the Bay area.

Now, with three original songs already recorded and a full album in progress, her dream is to hit it big.

"It's fun and I want to do it all the time now," she said.
