Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission officials along with Manatee County emergency personnel are investigating the disappearance of two kayakers after their kayak flipped over.
Officials on scene say the two men were kayaking in Lake Manatee State Park along with a church group. They were not wearing life vests at the time the kayak flipped.
The incident occurred just after noon on Saturday. The investigation continues.
