Free skin cancer screenings are being held today as part of Melanoma Monday.
The screenings are part of Melanoma Monday, which is a day set aside to call attention to the most serious type of skin cancer and to encourage early detection. The day kicks off Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
Screenings will be held at:
- Florida Hospital North Pinellas, located at 1395 N. Pinellas Ave. in Tarpon Springs, from 1-4 p.m.
- USF Health Morsani Center for Advanced Healthcare, 6th Floor Dermatology, 13330 USF Laurel Dr. in Tampa, from 5-7 p.m.
Several doctors will be on site to perform screenings and talk about the importance of taking care of your skin.
