Members of Largo High School’s graduating class put on their caps and gowns early Friday to walk the halls of Ponce De Leon Elementary.

  • Soon-to-be grads visited elementary school alma mater
  • Inspired their younger counterparts

Many of the students had previously attended the grammar school.

“It just kind of went by like the blink of an eye,” said senior Zachary Norman.

The younger children held signs congratulating and encouraging the soon-to-be graduates. One insightful sign even read, ‘Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.’

“They’re very inspiring and it’s fun to see them all happy and stuff,” said student Lily Selvidio.

Largo’s class of 2016 is set to graduate Thursday, June 2.
