A multi-vehicle crash on the Howard Frankland Bridge thwarted southbound morning traffic.

Traffic was limited to one and two lanes at various times Thursay morning.

The crash, which happened near the Tampa side heading towards Pinellas County, left one car dangling over the bridge wall and a flatbed truck upside down.

Major damage also happened to a Road Ranger vehicle.

There were only minor injuries in the 7:10 a.m. crash

Traffic delays began almost immediately. The Florida Highway Patrol said the lanes were all reopened to traffic around noon.
