The Largo Police Department needs help identifying a vehicle sought in a hit-and-run crash involving a police cruiser.
- Vehicle hit cruiser as officer was assisting a driver with disabled vehicle
- Police looking for a 2006-2008 black Infinity FX 35 (crossover)
- No one injured in crash
It happened on Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the northbound lanes of US 19 just north of Roosevelt Blvd. at 10:12 p.m.
The vehicle is a 2006-2008 black Infinity FX 35 (crossover) that struck a police cruiser.
The officer was parked in the curb lane with his emergency lights activated while he was assisting a driver with their disabled vehicle.
The cruiser prevented the hit-and-run driver from striking the tow truck as well as the disabled driver.
No one was injured in the crash.
