Twelve people, including several juveniles, are under arrest, charged with beating a pregnant woman in Seminole County.

Seminole County Sheriff’s deputies said they responded to the area of Daffadil Terrace and Lacy Lane just after 10 p.m. Sunday.

Upon arrival, they found several subjects in the front yards of two homes.

Ashley Flournoy, who is six months pregnant, sustained injuries to her head from the beating, deputies said.

She was able to identify her attackers, who lived next door, and said one of the suspects yelled at her during the attack that they did not care she was pregnant.

Deputies arrested a 12-year-old boy, 14-year-old boy, 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl on felony charges of aggravated battery. News 13 is not identifying these juveniles, in accordance with our Crime Guidelines.

The following suspects were also arrested for aggravated battery:

  • Harry Roberts, 42
  • Lasheena Thomas, 28
  • Quentin Herring, 29
  • Javaress Barnes, 24
  • Arshala Ford, 25
  • Antoinette Ford, 33
  • Jarvis Young, 20
  • Lareian Kennedy, 18

They were transported to the Seminole County jail.

A sheriff's spokeswoman said the attack was part of ongoing incidents between neighbors. Several neighbors said they no longer felt safe in their neighborhood.

“And last night to see men and women jumping on a pregnant lady, it’s just out of control, and it’s always something over there,” one neighbor said.
