If you're a Duke Energy customer your energy bill should go down at least a tiny bit next year.

The bill for an average residential customer is expected to go down by just 16 cents a month, bringing the average monthly bill down to just over $125.

This comes as state regulators are setting new rates for power customers across the state.

Customers will also see a roughly $3.45-per-month fee eliminated sometime next year.

In October The Florida Public Service Commission ordered Duke Energy to refund $54 million it collected from ratepayers to pay for a failed nuclear plant.
