After nearly six months in space, an American astronaut is back on Earth.
NASA Flight engineer Reid Wiseman, Russian cosmonaut Maxim Suraev and Alexander Gerst from the European Space Agency landed their Soyuz TMA-13M spacecraft in Kazakhstan at 10:58 p.m. EST.
The trio arrived at the International Space Station onbaord the Soyuz Spacecraft on May 29 from Kazakhstan and spent more than five months conducting research and maintenance activites.
Wiseman tweeted about his last day in space - saying he took advantage of the view of earth and did some last minute flips in zero gravity.
