Investigators in Marion County believe they may have found a man missing since last week.

Franklin Wayne Silcox Jr. has been missing since last Wednesday.

Deputies said he left his home near Graveyard Lake around ten Wednesday morning and never returned. Crews had searched for Silcox by air, land and boat.

Then on Sunday afternoon, a boater reported finding a body in the Ocklawaha River just north of County Road 316.

Deputies believe it was Silcox's body because of the clothing and a wallet found with his identification inside. An autopsy will be performed to confirm the identity and determine the exact cause of death.

The river is about a half mile from where Silcox lived with his parents. His family said he was a liver transplant patient who required daily medication and was prone to seizures.
