NASA is hoping you can help fellow Americans learn about climate change.

NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey are putting up cash for those who can help all of us better understand climate change.

The Climate Resilience Data Challenge began this week and it continues until March of next year.

Experts predict several challenges for the U.S. when it comes to changes in our climate, including coastal flooding, prolonged droughts and changes to acidic levels in our oceans.

That’s why NASA and the USGS are offering $35,000 in prizes to members of the public who can use climate data to come up with applications to address our vulnerabilities.
