After aborting a launch attempt early in the countdown, SpaceX was able to launch their Falcon 9 rocket early Tuesday morning.

The 1:25 a.m. attempt was aborted for an unexplained technical issue.

After evaluating the situation, launch officials decided to make a second attempt before the window closed at 4:11 a.m.

SpaceX is delivering a satellite to space for the AsiaSat Company, which serves two-thirds of the world’s population.

The AsiaSat 8 satellite will provide services to viewers in China, India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

AsiaSat said it will be its most powerful satellite to date, providing service for at least the next 15 years.
