A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday finds the Florida governor's race between Republican Gov. Rick Scott and former Gov. Charlie Crist, now a Democrat, too close to call.
The new poll shows 44 percent of likely voters are for Scott, 42 percent are in favor of Crist, and 8 percent are behind Libertarian candidate Adrian Wyllie. In our exclusive News 13 Florida Decides Poll, Scott held a 6-point advantage over Crist, 44 percent to 38 percent.
But with the election still six weeks away, could all that change?
The poll shows 81 percent of voters said their minds are made up, while 17 percent said they might change their mind.
When asked if they have a favorable opinion of the candidates, 41 percent said they liked Crist and 42 percent like Scott.
However, of polled voters, 86 percent said they have not heard enough about Wyllie to have an opinion.
Qunnipiac University surveyed 991 likely voters. The margin of error in this pole was +/- 3.1 percent.
