The United Launch Alliance has postponed its planned launch of an Atlas V rocket scheduled Monday because of the uncertain weather conditions from the former Tropical Storm Erika.

The launch was moved to Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the earliest.

The Atlas V is slated to launch from Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, carrying a U.S. Navy satellite into orbit.

A new launch window was not immediately announced as of Friday, when the new launch date was released.
