Three international astronauts are now back home after returning to Earth in a Soyuz capsule Friday night.

Expedition 44 crew member Gennady Padalka, and visiting crew members Andreas Mogensen of the European Space Agency and Aidyn Aimbetov of the Kazakh Space Agency were on board the Soyuz as it landed safely.

Padalka had spent 168 days on the International Space Station as flight engineer. He's made five trips to the ISS, and spent 879 total days in space, more than any other person.

Mogensen and Aimbetov both took short trips to the ISS, only 10 days in space. Aimbetov, an engineer, is the first Kazakh to fly in space. Mogensen is also an engineer, from Denmark.
