The world was rocked last week when the majority of the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union, and when the losing party wanted a re-do vote, it caused an uproar. The majority of viewers in the Sunshine State agreed with the uproar.

Out of 2,949 who took News 13’s and Bay News 9’s unscientific poll last week, viewers were asked if they thought the United Kingdom should have a second vote to stay in the EU, 1,693 people — or 57 percent — voted “No.”

Viewers who felt that the UK should have another vote were 32 percent or 945 people. And 11 percent, that’s 311 viewers, were undecided on the matter.

Last Sunday, more than 3 million people signed the petition on the official UK Parliament website. The website crashed temporarily Saturday due to the high volume of traffic from people rushing to sign the petition.

UK’s Parliament requires 100,000 signatures needed to have a debate on the issue, however the petition is being investigated after allegations of fraud.

At the moment, nothing has come from the petition.

In last Thursday’s vote, 52 percent of the UK voted to leave the EU, while 48 percent wanted to remain.
