Life has given Largo senior Danny Bergstrom many obstacles to overcome.
But he has never made an excuse for one of them.
Bergstrom moved from Texas to Florida on September 9th, to continue a path of a bright future.
"God has played a tremendous role in my life. I credit him with every victory," said Bergstrom. "Without him, I honestly have no idea where I'd be."
The sport of wrestling has also played a significant role in his new life.
Adopted at 15 years old, it was the building block to a father-son relationship. And with districts beginning on Friday, Bergstrom has found the confidence to believe he can be a state champion next month in Lakeland
