Plant swimmer Ally Donahue cruised to two district titles in the 50 Free and 100 Breast but is ready for this high school season to end with a bang.

Donahue is the 3A defending state champion in the 100 Breast and has her sights set on yet another state title in class 4A.

"Being in the top spot is tough," said Donahue. "The only place you can go is down or maintain and that is definitely the goal."

Once the high school season finishes her swimming will only get more serious. Donahue will begin to focus on the Speedo Winter Junior Nationals, December 12-14 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

But her aspirations don't stop there.

Donahue has that Olympic dream, to follow in the foot steps of her mom Karen Dieffenthaller who was the only Olympic swimmer on the Trinidad and Tobago 1988 Olympic team. Dieffenthaller swam the 50, 100 and 200 Free and though her performance was not ideal, her mindset of a champion has been pasted down to her daughter.
