Here is this week's Tampa Bay volleyball rankings for week seven of the season. Last week's record in parenthesis.

1. (1) Clearwater Central Catholic (18-5) - A four-set victory over Northside Christian improved the win total, but the big test will be this week against Palm Harbor. After that, it's off to districts for the top team in the land.

2. (2) Bloomingdale (21-1) - The win streak is now at 12, including 10 sweeps in that span.

3. (3) Tampa Prep (16-3) - Every year it's a great match between the Terps and Berkeley Prep. Last year, Tampa Prep shocked the Bucs in a sweep, this year it was Berkeley who got revenge in a five-set thriller.

4. (7) Manatee (16-4) - Very, very impressive sweep of Palm Harbor, especially on the road. That keeps them tied at the top of the district.

5. (4) Palm Harbor University (19-2) - The Canes were swept at home by Manatee, but bounced back with a nice win over Lakewood Ranch.

6. (6) Lakewood Ranch (19-5) - The Mustangs fell to Palm Harbor in three sets, but have a big test against Manatee this week.

7. (10) Jenkins (20-7) - Great finish to the regular season for Jenkins, who ends the year 10-0 in district play after sweeping Bartow and beating Lakeland in four sets.

8. (8) Wharton (18-4) - Two games left on the year for the Wildcats, who are the second best in a district that features Bloomingdale.

9. (9) Calvary Christian (17-6) - Back-to-back losses to out-of-area teams, but the Crusaders bounced back nicely with three wins after that. They've only lost four times to area teams.

10. (NR) Sunlake (17-5) - Big, big win over Fivay in thre sets to earn the top seed in 5A-8 district tournament.
