Sophomores and juniors fill up a good chunk of Tampa Bay Tech's roster. But the Titans also have one exceptional senior.

Deon Cain displayed why is one of the top players in the state with an impressive performance against Gaither. The Clemson commit rushed for 280 yards and two touchdowns and also grabbed the game-clinching interception in Tech's 42-32 victory over Gaither.

The victory sets up a Class 7A-District 7 championship showdown between the Titans and Sickles next week.

Cain scored his first two touchdowns in the first half, but Gaither maintained a 24-21, thanks in large part to a strong ground game led by Curtis Wilder and Malik Huff.

But the Titans opened the second half with 21 unanswered points. And after the back-and-forth lead changes in the first, Tech's defense came up with some big stops on Gaither's first two possessions of the second half. Tech defensive back Chalo Judge had two tackles for a loss near the end of the third quarter to help get the ball back to the Titans offense for their final score.
