Senior Talia and sophomore Sophia Falco have been named the Bright House Sports Network Athletes of the Week.
The sisters are one of the main reasons the Lakewood Ranch girls soccer team stands at 16-0-2 this season. The Mustangs have already clinched the top seed entering the 4A District 11 Tournament.
Talia, who is committed to Kent State on a track & field scholarship, has scored 25 goals this season and 44 over the past three seasons. She also has 29 career assists.
Sophia has notched 16 goals and 12 assists in 2014. Last year, as a freshman, Sophia scored 12 goals and was a huge contributor to last year's team that advanced to the state semifinals.
