In the annual Pinellas vs. Hillsborough matchups, 90 minutes were not enough as both games headed to a shootout to decide the winners at the Senior Soccer Challenge.

In the girls game, Palm Harbor University's Alexis Mouton stole the show with two goals for team Pinellas in a 3-2 win. After a 2-2 tie in regulation, we went to a shootout where Seminole's Brandy Maulucci put home the winner for team Pinellas.

On the boys side, a 1-1 tie in regulation sent the game into the second shootout of the night. Jesuit's Jacob Vila gave Hillsborough the early lead, but Northeast's Bryan Combs scored the equalizer for team Pinellas. In the shootout, Jesuit goalkeeper Lucas Schmeling came up big for Hillsborough, making key saves including the winning save to secure the 2-1 win for Hillsborough.

Schmeling was named FBC Mortgage Player of the Game.
