Senior night for Tampa Catholic and the seniors were doing everything right in the 8-2 win over Tampa Prep Monday night.
Senior pitcher Clayton Smith pitched three innings, allowing two runs and striking out two.
Senior first baseman Joseph Burruezo went 2-for-3 with a walk and hit a big two-run home run in the third to give the Crusaders a 6-2 lead.
Tampa Catholic takes the win and prepares for districts next week.
