ST PETE - It's been a good couple years for Boca Ciega tennis player Dan Stefan.
"After winning state's last year, I didn't know if I could repeat," Stefan explains. "But I came in with confidence and honestly, it's been a really successful year."
Back-to-back State singles titles will leave you with that kind of confidence. Stefan even finished runner-up in State for doubles as well.
"All he talks about is playing tennis," Head Coach Kelley Hixson said. "He's really goofy and likes to have fun too."
His opponents probably aren't laughing though. That's because Stefan is only a Junior.
"If I can win the last two, I definitely think I can go for three next year."
