LAKELAND - Lakeland travels to Lake Gibson friday night as the dreadnaughts and the braves go head-to-head.  Lakeland jumps out to the early lead when Aaron Johnson hands off the ball to Anthony Davis who cut across the field and into the endzone for a 14-6 lead at the break.

In the second half, the braves would rally with consecutive scores, the first one coming with a handoff to Derrien Bomar who sprinted through the right side of the line and into the endzone.  Later, quarterback Hunter Orem kept the ball and dashed to the left for a score that put the home team up 18-14.

With the game on the line in the 4th quarter, the dreadnaughts found themselves in a do-or-die situation.  On 4th and goal, quarterback Aaron Johnson found James Robinson on the reverse to the left.  Robinson had to beat just one defender before sneaking down the sideline and into the endzone.

That score gave the dreadnaughts a 21-18 lead, and put them up for good.  They would later add another score to win by a 28-18 final.
