The King Lions took control of 6A District 9 on Thursday night with a victory over the Chamberlain Chiefs bringing their record to 4-1 and 2-0 in the District.
The Lions swept the Chiefs, 25-14, 25-21, 25-6, led by their returning starters from last season’s District Championship.
King’s Arielle Allen recorded 9 Kills and 2 Aces on the night in a dominant performance to earn her the BHSN Player of the Game.
Her supporting cast was equally as impressive.

Michayla Williams - 7 Kills, 2 Aces
Alexandra Pividal – 7 Kills, 1 Ace
Elizabeth Hurtt – 8 Aces, 2 Assists
Chamberlain made a strong charge in the second set to pressure the Lions, but ultimately lost the set 25-21.
Chamberlain will look to put this loss behind them and pick up a win when they face Spoto on Tuesday.
King plays Blake on Wednesday and will look to continue their district dominance.
