TAMPA - The game between Tampa Bay Tech and Durant remained knotted in a tight 7-6 score until the final minute of the first half.  In less than 30 seconds, the Cougars seized control of the game before the break.

Senior quarterback Erick Davis held the ball and ran in from ten yards out to score his second of the night to put Durant up 13-6.

Seconds later, Tampa Bay Tech QB Deon Cain dropped back in the pocked but was stripped of the ball at his own 10-yard line.  From there, Durant pounced on the turnover when Johnson found Garrett Rentz in the back of the endzone for a 20-6 lead at the break.

In the end, the Cougars held on for the 34-20 win.
