Head Coach Lisa Bickerton's squad is eager to return to Kissimmee.

The George Jenkins Eagles dominated district foe Haines City in straight sets Thursday night on the BHSN Game of the Week. 

The Eagles proved they are the team to beat in Polk County as they roughed up the Hornets in convincing fashion, 25-12, 25-13 and 25-14 to stay undefeated in district play.

BHSN Players of the game, Tori Clark and Kelly Germain took control of the Eagles' front row. Germain had 16 kills and Clark finished with 9.

Hornets' libero Darian Hornsby picked up at least 20 digs as she tried to defend the Eagles front row attack.

Haines City sophomore Jordan Reedy stepped up for injured starting middle hitter Noel Galindez, who injured her ankle Tuesday night. 

 

Next up, the Eagles (11-3) take their talents to Hillsborough county for the Durant Tournament this weekend.

Haines City (6-5) looks to rebound against Kathleen Tuesday night.
