The 4th annual Showdown in O-Town might have been the best matchups in the three years that there have been on BHSN as five of the six teams involved were ranked in the top ten in their respective classes.

The first game of the night featured the defending Class 7A state champion Oviedo Lions taking on the Windermere Prep Lakers. The Lakers used a swarming defense to hold Oviedo senior Matt Milon to 22 points, including only 3 points in the second quarter after Milon dropped in 12 points in the opening quarter to pace the Lions to a 25-20 early lead after one quarter. Lakers guard Isaiah Curry led the charge scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds en route to being named the BHSN Player of the Game. Senior Michael Stones added 16 points and 3 assists as Windermere Prep held off the late charging Lions, 69-66.

In the second game of the triple header, the Osceola Kowboys took on an Orlando Christian Prep Warriors team that was coming off Thursday's momentum building win over Class 7A #1 Lake Minneola. The Warriors built an early lead and cruised to a 64-60 victory that wasn't as close as the score showed. OCP guard Josh Raoul did most of his damage from the charity stripe, going 12-14 and led all scorers with 21 points. Kowboys forward Tevin Florent cashed in with 16 points, scoring 12 in the second half. Kowboys guard Mike Tolbert struggled from the field, shooting 1-14 and finishing the night with 8 points.

In the final game, the Dr. Phillips Panthers were led by stellar guard play from David Stephen and Jonathan Laurent, coasting to a 69-55 win. Stephen's stuffed the stat sheet with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the victory. Senior Jonathan Laurent posted another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Panthers and improve their record to 10-7 on the season.

Oviedo dropped to 14-4 while both Osceola and TFA fell to 16-3 on the season.

Windermere Prep and Dr. Phillips both improved to 10-7, while OCP moved to 11-7 on the season.
