Dorian Finney-Smith's rough 39 minutes became a thing of the past with the game on the line.

Finney-Smith, the Gators' leading scorer who had been 0-for-5 from the field, slammed home a tiebreaking dunk with 22 seconds remaining as the Florida Gators snapped a three-game losing streak by holding off hard-charging Alabama on Tuesday night.

The Gators, who led by 13 points at halftime, took a 50-45 lead with 4:04 to go on a Chris Walker layup.  It would be the team's last points until Finney-Smith's game-winner. Alabama tied the game with a Ricky Tarrant 3-pointer with 2:18 to go, but neither team was able to break through.

Walker had 12 points, while Eli Carter had 13 as the Gators improved to 11-9, 4-3 in the SEC.

Florida will now rest before suiting up at home against Arkansas on Saturday at 1 p.m.
