Wiregrass Ranch came up just short in their first-ever Final Four appearance, falling to Chiles 1-0 despite outshooting the Timberwolves 6-5 in the 4A Semifinals. A last-second corner kick gave the Bulls one closing scoring chance, but the Chiles defense cleared the ball and the final whistle blew.

Chiles, also making their first-ever Final Four appearance, got a first-half goal from James Gillard (his 24th of the year) in the 26th minute. Junior goalkeeper Logan Henry recorded his 16th shutout of the season, as the Timberwolves improved to 28-3-0.

The Bulls lost for the first time since December 16th, as they brought a 13-game unbeaten streak into the state semifinals. They finish the season 27-2-1. Chiles will face the winner of Barron Collier-Palm Beach Lakes in Saturday's 4A Championship, live at 12 PM on Bright House Sports Network (Channel 47/HD1147).
