The East Manatee Admirals (21-0) dominated Mitchell Mustangs (15-5-1) 10-3 to win the 2015 FHSHA Lightning Conference Championship.
In a rematch of last season's final, East Manatee sought revenge after a 6-2 loss to Mitchell who hoisted the Lightning Cup in 2014.
The Admirals were led by Lightning Cup MVP Ian Deckard who scored a natural hat trick in the win.
Mitchell's standout right wing, Lucas Sowder was limited in ice time in the championship due to a knee injury and certainly played a factor in the game.
The Mustangs took an early lead in the first period with goals by brothers Nicholas and Michael Demiceli.
Admirals goaltender Dominik Tmej had 25 saves.
East Manatee forward Justen Bernthal knocked in two insurance goals to seal the win.
Next up, the Admirals will take their talents to South Florida to take on the winner of the Panther Cup in the SAHOF high school championship.
