The State’s best wrestlers made their way to Osceola High School on Saturday over to take part in the 5th Annual Florida All Class Wrestling Showcase.

“For everyone else the season more or less ends last weekend [at state finals]. But I always know I still have to wrestle in this thing—I always love it too,” Palm Harbor University wrestler Connor Prince said.

“There’s always extra competition and you always get a nice experience from everyone else.”

Only the states very best get an invite.

“The idea is for us to figure out truly who is really the best kid,” explained the wrestling coach Liaison Mike Palazzo.

“There’s three different classifications 1A-2A-3A so the idea is to bring those state champions together and actually hash it out to see who the best is and along the way they get collect some continued education dollars which is a big part of it. The idea is to support Florida wrestling and try to help it grow.”

A big part of the tournament’s success is due to the American Dreams Foundation and the White Family whose been backing the event since day one.
