The Dunedin Falcons outlasted a late rally by the Palm Harbor Hurricanes 5-4 on the Bright House Sports Network Game of the Week.

The Falcons took an early one-run lead and then Jesse McElveen made it 3-0 on a 2-run double. 

The Hurricanes had plenty of opportunities, stranding 11 batters on the night, nine after the fifth inning.

Dunedin ace Aubrey Ehlers made key outs, including five strikeouts in the win to improve her record to 12-3. The Falcons held off a late 7th inning rally by th Hurricanes on hits by Hannah Bonner and Rebekah Mooneyhan.

Dunedin shortstop Jesse McElveen was the BHSN Player of the Game, contributing two doubles and 3 RBIs.

PHU drops to 16-7 on the year, following their third straight loss.

Dunedin improves to 13-3 for their fifth straight win.
