Here is this week's BHSN Bay-area Top 10 baseball poll. Last week's ranking in parenthesis.

1. (1) Dunedin (17-3) - The Falcons ran through their own tournament before getting tripped up by Palm Harbor in the Dunedin Spring Tournament Championship game. A really important district game looms with River Ridge up next. That will decide the top seed in the district tornament.

2. (6) Winter Haven (17-3) - A six-game winning streak for WH, including the win over Haines City, vaults them up in the rankings. Pitching has led the way, with six runs allowed during the streak.

3. (2) Haines City (17-3) - Another one-run game between the Hornets and Winter Haven, but this time the Blue Devils prevaled, knocking the Hornets down a few spots.

4. (3) Bishop McLaughlin (17-3) - Three shutouts in the last four games for the Canes, who have won 12 of 13.

5. (9) Lake Wales (17-4) - A big game looms with Winter Haven on the schedule this week. LW's last loss in their past 11 games came to the Blue Devils, so the rematch should be one to watch.

6. (10) East Lake (14-4) - The Eagles are heating up at the right time, with seven-straight wins.

7. (7) Northeast (16-4) - After starting 14-0, the Vikings have gone 2-4 in their last six games. Over that span, they're hitting just .133.

8. (8) Alonso (16-5) - After back-to-back losses, Alonso has won two key district games over Plant and Bloomingdale to tie for the lead in the district standings.

9. (NR) Palm Harbor University (16-5) - The 'Canes last loss came against East Lake, and by just two runs. Winning the Dunedin Spring Tournament puts this team in the Top 10. Welcome.

10. (NR) Durant (15-5) - Five shoutouts in the last six games, including a 1-0 win over Brandon, has Durant in. They're also 10-0 in district play.

On the bubble: Riverview (15-5), Brandon (14-4), Calvary Christian (14-4), River Ridge (12-4), Jesuit (15-7), Hillsborough (13-6), Indian Rocks Christian (16-4), Hernando (14-6), Keswick Christian (14-4), Jefferson (14-5), Wesley Chapel (16-6), Plant (12-7)
