Seminole cruised to a 7-2 win over Northeast, behind two-run home runs from seniors Chris Berry (North Florida signee) and Tyler Koser. Senior Austin Lamoureux pitched four scoreless innings, allowing only two hits and striking out five.

Northeast needed a win to stay alive in their pursuit of the #1 seed in the upcoming 7A District 9 tournament, but ace pitcher David Sockol struggled from the start. He walked two batters and allowed four earned runs in two innings.

The Warhawks offense continues to prove why they'll be a tough out in the district tournament, despite losing five of their first seven district games. They improve to 12-9 (4-5 in 7A-9) and face Palm Harbor U. tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Vikings' struggles continue. After starting the season 14-0, they're 2-5 over their last seven games, scoring only eight runs in those five losses. They'll look to rebound on Thursday vs. Dr. Phillips, and will host the 7A District 9 tournament in two weeks.
