The Class 2A state baseball semifinal between Bayshore Christian and Seven Rivers Christian had a little bit of everything.

A balk that scored a run, a player ejected for charging the mound and four extra innings of action.

After 11 innings, Bayshore Christian clinched the 4-3 victory when Seven Rivers walked in the winning run. The Warriors will play for the 2A title LIVE on BHSN Channel 47/HD 1147 Thursday at 4 p.m.

Down 3-2 in the bottom of the 11th, Evan Holland's RBI double scored David Santiago to tie the game at 3-all. That was followed by Jordan Martin's walk and then a balk by Seven Rivers pitcher Parker Pillsbury to advance the runners to second and third.

Pillsbury intentionally walked Ger'Rokeo Scott to load the bases and set in motion the winning run by Holland when Keeshawn Royal drew the walk.

Seven Rivers had several opportunities to put the game away, including the top of the 11th when they went up 3-2. In the top of the eighth, an RBI double by Cory Weiand put Seven Rivers up 2-1. This came after a Seven Rivers player was ejected for charging the Bayshore Christian mound after getting hit in the head by a pitch.

Bayshore Christian was able to rally once again in the bottom of the eighth, tying it up with a bases loaded walk.

Every time Seven Rivers went ahead, Bayshore Christian had an answer. When Seven Rivers scored the first run of the game in the top of the fourth on a balk call, the Warriors responded in the bottom of the fourth with Scott's RBI double to center field to tie it at 1-all.

Playing in the school's first-ever state baseball tournament, Bayshore Christian will attempt to win their first title.
