There was a lot of drama in Bayshore Christian's state baseball semifinal victory on Wednesday.
In the Warriors 2A state championship game against Brito Miami on Thursday, not so much.
Defending state champs Brito easily cruised to their second-straight title with a 12-1 victory over Bayshore Christian at jetBlue Park.

The Warriors, playing in the school's first-ever state baseball championship game, appeared worn out and overwhelmed at times by Brito. But who could blame Bayshore Christian. A little more than 24 hours separated them from their three-and-a-half hours, 11 innings semifinal victory.
Brito jumped out to an early 5-0 lead before the Warriors responded in the third inning with Jordan Martin's RBI double that scored Ricky Formari for their first and lone run. Bayshore Christian squandered more scoring chances in that inning by stranding runners on second and third.
In all, the Warriors left five runners on base.

Brito exploded in the bottom of the third with seven runs, setting up the eventual 10-run rule that ended the game after five innings.
Bayshore Christian finished the season 15-5.
