The Tampa Bay Lightning hold a total of nine picks, including one in the first round, at the 2015 NHL Draft, which begins with picks 1-30 on Friday at 7 p.m. (NBCSN) at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida. Rounds 2-7 will be held on Saturday, June 27, beginning at 10 a.m. with NHL Network providing live coverage to viewers across North America.

The Lightning own the 28th overall selection in the first round on Friday evening. In addition, they have picks in the second round (44th overall), third round (64th overall), fourth round (118th and 120th overall), fifth round (150th overall), sixth round (153rd and 180th overall) and seventh round (208th overall). Of the nine picks, only three are the Lightning’s original selection spots. The six other spots the Lightning will pick from were acquired via trade.

The Bolts have made a selection in the first round in each of their past seven years at the NHL Draft. The Lightning have never selected 28th overall in the club’s history.
