Darius Miller LOVES the Game of the Week.  For the second straight season, Miller exploded for a huge night at Stewart Field on Bright House Sports Network, finishing with 277 rushing yards and 4 TD on just 11 carries, and leading St. Petersburg past East Lake 46-30 in their first district contest of the season.

Miller's performance came just over a year after racking up 334 all-purpose yards and 4 TD vs. Lakewood, and he once again credited his offensive line for paving the path for his outstanding night.  Backfield mate Jacquel Waller added 110 yards and a TD and QB Ola Thomas was perfect on the night, going 7-for-7 for 109 yards and a TD pass to De'andre Dancil.

East Lake rallied in the third quarter, pulling to within six at 30-24 on a 53-yd TD pass from Bobby Goldinak to Kyle Fearrington.  Goldinak had a career-high 271 passing yards while Fearrington went for 133 receiving yards on six receptions.  Bryce Miller showed no rust in his return from a collarbone injury, with 5 receptions for 92 yards and a TD, while adding a 38-yd TD run in the first half.

In the super-competitive 7A District 10, the Green Devils (3-1) now sit tied atop the district with Countryside, who defeated Seminole tonight.  They'll travel to Largo next week to take on the Packers.  East Lake (1-3) hosts Tarpon Springs next week, in one of Pinellas County's best rivalry games.
