Bolles cruised to 4-1 victory over Bishop Moore, thanks to three first-half goals, as the Bulldogs won their second straight 2A Championship.

The Hornets were making their first title game appearance since 2007, and their first under head coach Amy Geltz, who as a player led them to state titles in 1989 and 1991.  But Bolles did not allow the Hornets to establish any kind of offensive flow in a physical first half that included 19 combined fouls.

Junior striker Leila Azari got the scoring started, scoring her 19th goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 11th minute, after Rachel Dias drew a foul in the box.  Cami Dade scored next, converting a chance right in front of the goal off of an Ariana Munoz free kick in the 27th minute.  Munoz earned Player of the Game honors, as she tallied the final two Bulldogs goals (30' & 84').  She finishes the season with a team-high 29 goals.

Bishop Moore got on the scoreboard with a goal from Mollie Costa in the 88th minute.

Bolles now has six girls soccer state titles, tied for the 4th-best total in FHSAA history.
