The Seminole High School baseball field has been unofficially known as Bill Brinker Field for some time.  But, Warhawk nation wanted to do things right and rededicated the field to the legend.  For nearly three decades, Brinker was the man behind the machine that racked up 485 wins, a state title, and a national title.  But, Coach Brinker said it was never just about winning.

Former Seminole third baseman and pro scout Tom Kotchman attended the rededication ceremony and said "Coach Brinker was tough; but the players always knew that Brinker cared and what his expectations were".  Although the 90-year-old Brinker isn't physically around Seminole High as much these days, current Warhawks Head Coach Jeff Pincus said Brinker's influence continues to be felt in the program.

The Warhawks are ending their final regular season home stand fittingly, by honoring the man whose name has been with Seminole baseball from the beginning.
