It's another quality get for Florida men's basketball coach Mike White. Wednesday brought news that Virginia Tech sophomore guard Jalen Hudson would transfer to Gainesville.

Hudson utlimately chose Florida over Texas.

Hudson spent the first two years at Virginia Tech where he appeared in 67 games (starting 27) for the Hokies. He averaged 7.7 ppg throughout his time for Buzz Williams at Virginia Tech.

The Ohio native found his rhythm and success on the court during the 2015-16 season as he averaged 8.4 ppg during his sophomore campaign. He nearly doubled his field goal attempts from freshman year, while going nearly 35% from the the 3-point line.

The 6'5", 185-lbs guard came out of the class of 2014 as a four-star recruit. He attended St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron Ohio, which is the same school that Lebron James attended before graduating in 2003 and going right to the NBA.
