There are still skeptics out there on whether or not the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made the right decision in selecting former Florida State University kicker Roberto Aguayo in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Former Buccaneers’ kicker Martin Gramatica isn't one of them.

Tampa Bay’s third-round pick in the 1999 NFL Draft was at One Buc Place on Thursday and talked about the Bucs' bold move to get Aguayo.  Gramatica said the team needs to have a consistent, accurate kicker like Aguayo, considering the impact the NFL rule change on extra points has on the game.

Aguayo spoke about the extra steps in his conditioning that are decidedly different from most kickers and his growing relationship with Gramatica, who began mentoring Aguayo just before the Seminoles’ BCS national championship game in 2014.
