Orlando Pride (4-2-2, 12 points) will be without both forward Alex Morgan and goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris this weekend, per national team call ups, as the team prepares for two-time NWSL defending champions FC Kansas City.

The team is also nursing a few injuries here in week nine that will test the team’s depth in the middle of its long away stretch.

The group has been able to build up some confidence and cohesiveness going into this match, after stringing together three straight shutout wins and the team’s first road victory vs. Houston last Friday.

“The great thing for us going into this game is having that win away from home last week,” Head Coach Tom Sermanni said.

“I think that’s been a critical thing because we not only lost two games away from home and you don’t get into losing streak. So that gives us the confidence for these three upcoming games.”

The Pride will travel to FC Kansas City (0-4-2) on Friday and will play Saturday evenig at 8:30 pm.  The game will be streamed live on YouTube.
