A recent traffic death has many residents of a Bradenton neighborhood concerned about their safety.
Residents in GreyHawk Landing are concerned about the intersection of State Road 64 and GreyHawk Boulevard.
The growing population of the area has increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area and a man was recently struck and killed by a car near the neighborhood recently.

"Its’ very dangerous, very, very dangerous."
"Everybody goes too fast and everybody’s in a hurry."
"The safety of trying to get out of here, the traffic just barrels along, it’s very unsafe."
"I think it’s a matter of literally life and death to have a traffic light put in."
The Florida Department of Transportation said the intersection is being studied.
In the meantime, FDOT said there are plans for a roundabout at the intersection, which officials say would slow down speeding traffic.
