NATIONWIDE — Children’s Advil Suspension bubble gum flavor has been recalled due to overdose concerns, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare announced Tuesday.
According to the company, customers complained that the dosage cup for the bubble gum flavored 4 fl. oz. bottle is marked in teaspoons, even though the label’s instructions use milliliters.
Pfizer said in its news release that the mismatched dosage cup in teaspoons and the instructions in milliliters could lead to a “potential overdose.”
Common symptoms of ibuprofen overdose includes vomiting, headache, nausea, dizziness and drowsiness, the company described.
