DOVER, Fla. — Several RVs caught fire in Dover at Blue Compass RV Sales near Interstate 4 early Wednesday morning, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR).

The fire happened at 4656 McIntosh Road.

Officials with HCFR said their emergency dispatch center received multiple 911 calls from passersbys on Interstate 4, one of them a State Fire Marshal, at 3:33 a.m. reporting heavy fire.

When HCFR arrived, three RVs were fully involved, and a fourth had just caught fire.

The RVs burned for 30 minutes before the flames were knocked down.

Although the damage left behind was extensive, none of the RVs were occupied and no one was hurt.
