LOS ANGELES — Mayor Bass announced on Friday that small business owners impacted by the closure of the I-10 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles can take advantage of a micro-enterprise grant program.

The small business owner of Why Nuts in DTLA’s industrial district says he lost 40% of his business the first few days of the closure, as many of his customers were not willing to sit through traffic to get to his store.

Applications for the grant program close on Dec. 10.
